Harassment Prevention: training re-released

The newly titled "UC Preventing Harassment & Discrimination" compliance training is released as of October 27, 2022.

This is the anticipated new version of the "Sexual Violence and Sexual Harassment Prevention Training"  previously taken down on July 15, 2022. It was developed as part of the University’s efforts to prevent and respond to sexual violence and sexual harassment.

 
This compliance training for employees, supervisors and faculty is now available to complete in the UC Learning Center.

If this compliance requirement applies to you, you are notified via email.

UC Preventing Harassment & Discrimination: for Non-Supervisors 

  • Audience: All payroll employees with active status are required
    (supervisors, faculty, and MSPs are not required to take this version)
  • Frequency: One hour, every two years

UC Preventing Harassment & Discrimination: for Supervisors, Faculty, MSP 

  • Audience: All Health, Campus and Office of Graduate Medical Education Supervisors and Faculty
  • Frequency: Two hours, every two years

The reason for the temporary hold and re-release is that the vendor for the course, Everfi, was acquired by another company, Vector Solutions.
  • July 15: the vendor shut down the course and its hosting platform.
  • October 27: the University of California Office of the President (UCOP) replaced the course.
