COVID-19 and Working Onsite at UCSF

Course release:
May 28, 2020

Course required for employees, faculty, staff, and student employees

Both Cal/OSHA and the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) recently issued requirements for all employees facing a risk of exposure to COVID-19 to receive training from their employer on the basic hazards of the disease, and the methods being used to limit transmission.

To address this training mandate, UCSF has developed a 5-minute read-only training summary that applies to all campus and UCSF Health (West Bay) employees (including faculty, staff and student employees). Training for BCH Oakland employees will be provided separately.

Employees who are currently working remotely from home are generally expected to continue working from home until further notice. Receiving this training assignment does NOT indicate an instruction to return to site.
